Having been trained as commercial studio photographer for twenty
years, it may seem curious why I have waited so long to add "studio shots" to my site. The answer is simple; I was avoiding it.
Studio work had lost all its interest to me over the last several years.
Having sold my interest in my photography and design company, I wanted a new direction, and landscape work provided that. The last couple of years that I owned my studio were painful... I watched as the
computer quietly took over an industry I loved. To often commercial photographers are now considered an extension of the computer, human scanners if you will.
Fortunately, my interest in studio
work has been rekindled. Luckily, I no longer have clients to please, deadlines to make. I work to please myself.
