The Oregon Coast; magical, mysterious, dangerous but most of all, beautiful.  I visited the Oregon coast in March while attending Photolucida, a bi-annual portfolio review held in Portland Oregon. I arrived a few days early to spend time shooting the coastline. Although visible from Hwy 101, the coastline is only accesible from selected points along the way. I concentrated on Ecola Bay and Yaquina Bay, both offer wonderful access and plentiful shooting opportunities. I was planning to travel down to Redwoods National Park but scenes like these made me change my mind.  Plus travel along 101 is fairly slow due to traffic and the winding road.
