As I travel further down the technological highway, I realize the
greater importance that the natural world plays in my life. Although I value the power of the pixel, and obviously I use it often, I realize that it will never replace the simple communion between me,
the camera and a tree. Perhaps it's the simplicity or even the mystery of photography, I don't know, but as I stare at the monitor, this piece of electrified glass, I realize how much I miss being
out there... looking through another piece of glass... the ground glass.
